How does it work?

Download the app to any smartphone and create an account (or login using Google or Facebook).  Once you’ve added your property, head outside and aim your Smartphone camera at your home to scan.  The application will detect and measure your windows and create a blueprint of that face of your home.  Repeat this process on all other faces of your home where you will be pricing new windows.

How long does it take to customize my windows?

The first one take 3-5 minutes to customize.  If the following windows will have the same options (colour, style, etc), then they can be customized in seconds.  An entire home could take anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour, depending on how varied and complex the items are.

There are so many manufacturers. How do I choose?

Homeowners are always strongly encouraged to review their chosen manufacturer on certain criteria (accuracy, quality, timeline, etc).  You can always see their ratings as reviewed by homeowners just like you.  We also suggest going to the individual websites of the manufacturers you’re considering to learn about their products before making your final decision.

There are so many contractors. How do I choose?

Homeowners are always strongly encouraged to review their chosen contractor on certain criteria (quality, cleanliness, timeliness, etc).  You can always see their ratings as reviewed by homeowners just like you, and choose one that has good reviews, a price point you’re comfortable with, and availability in your timeline.  

How long does it take to receive my windows?

Once you place your order, you will schedule a final measure with your chosen contractor.  This could be days or weeks away, depending on your availability and that of your contractor.  After measurements are confirmed, your order will be submitted to your chosen manufacturer and you will be informed of approximate timeline for delivery.  Different manufacturers will have different timelines, but you will be informed every step of the way.

What if I want to price a window with a wall modification (where there currently is just a wall)?

Use the “add window” button and enter the dimensions of the window that you would like to install and the application will price that window for you. There will be additional charges for install that your contractor will go over with you at time of measure.
